100 of these car carriers were built by the WAGR Workshops at Midland between 1974 and 1975. They were numbered 34501-34600 and were designed to carry 8-10 cars depending on size. At the time, these were the first class of vehicles built for the NSW railways by the workshops of another railway.

Coding: Originally coded BNX, recoded NMNX after 1979.

 

Colour Scheme: Originally painted PTC blue. Some repainted in SRA Red.

Operation: Used to transport new cars from South Australian plants to Enfield Yd.

 

Modelling: PLAN – Has to be scratchbuilt.
