AOGF Open Wagon
AOGF in use by LVRF at Leightonfield
in 2003. Josh

These wagons were originally SAR O and OX open
wagons. LVRF hired many of these from ASR for a time to operate their container
services throughout NSW. LVRF removed the doors to make the loading and
unloading of containers easier. They were not fitted with twistlocks
and therefore they had to be loaded with either 2 x 20ft or 1 x 40ft container,
unless travelling empty.
